I'm okay and all, but it was terrifying. The girl who hit me was a sobbing mess.

Yes. I had the green going straight; she was turning left and had a blinking yellow (yield to oncoming traffic). I couldn't move out of the way, and she didn't look like she was supposed to, so it was unavoidable considering the circumstances.
I posted a photo of my parents' car on FB. It's 100% totaled, and we have to find nonexistent money to get it fixed. :( I'm really upset about it, but they weren't mad because it wasn't my fault. -
Oh wow. I'm glad you're okay but that's scary and at least she didn't drive off

Well, the funny part about this? When I put the car in park, I threw the door open, turned around, and ran after her screaming, "You f---er! Stop your car! STOP!"
We were on a highway, and so a lot of cars had to stop for me as I ran after them. The adrenaline in my legs made it so I could streak after them (they were only going 15-25 mph at most) -

It was. I'm at home today because I still can't get over the stress of destroying our only car. :(
I'm not quite sure that they could have. The left side of their car was dented in and it looked like a part of their tire/engine might have been damaged. They had an extremely long ride home.
I don't know. I'm not good with car models. :(
They will, eventually. She had insurance. She was only 19, though.
The guy who towed our car said that it wasn't going to be fixable. The damage to our tire, front, cooler, etc. is going to cost more than it would to just go out and purchase a used car. -
