I'm feeling so guilty right now. Haven't talked to my friends in a while. I mean, I've only got three where I live, and all of them are in college, but they're RIGHT HERE! Am I a bad person? I don't even talk to them once a month!

Okay. I just FEEL like a bad person, then.
You know, you're my only boy friend. Uh, friend that's a boy. I only know girls, but I met them all at my riding school. It's ironic because two were my instructors, and the third was the little sister of one.
I did have a friend that was a boy back where I used to live, but he moved away, and I only knew him until I was 3.
My mom keeps suggesting that I go see him now that we know where he is, but I don't even know him anymore, and I doubt he'll remember me 'cause I don't remember him!
Just rambling here, it seems. -

Thanks, but I AM awful with this whole "friendship" thing. I'm just not that great at it. I have to beg my friends to call me because I'm to shy to call them, and of course they don't because they're busy, I get that. But if I call them, I'll run out of things to say within the first five minutes!

Yeah, but I'm weird with that. I often have conversations that end with people saying, "Uh-huh," but in their minds, they're like, "Whaaaaaaaaat?"
I can see it in their eyes when I'm around them. And I can hear it in their voice if I'm on the phone. -

Is it bad that I sometimes try not to have friends? I like the people I know now, but before, I didn't want to be friends because I was used to being alone.

Well, whenever I turn down someone, it's because they're too rowdy, they're distracting me from what I need, or they just don't care. The girls that I tried to turn down and ended up being friends with--they were none of these. I just wasn't comfortable with having friends, so I didn't want any. I wasn't used to it.
