It's probably fake. Nintendo rarely does something like that.
One time, I was playing Smash Bros with my sister. She was using Sonic and I was using Samus. Sonic picked up by a crane. It was supposed to carry him off, but then I hit him with my special. He got stuck between the two and exploded into confetti! -
