Thread Topic: I need help finding a thread
-
once apon a time there was a user named Hunteriscool (or Hunterizcool) that has been on this site a long time ago
sadly he passed away from reasons I have forgotten
I would like to try and find that thread that mentions his passing
I know its a long shot but I want to find it for reasons that would take too long to explain -
His profile says that he hasn't posted for 6 years so if he passed around that time I'd say the thread mentioning it is probably in the 7,000th to 9,000th pg of the lounge.
-
Im on it
-
What was the thread name?
-
is there a way I can search his name or a users name?
or keywords? I don't know I haven't been on this site in like 6 years
and no I don't remember the name of the thread
something like "devastating news" or something like that
my old deteriorating mind can't remember a lot of details
sorry -
We used to be able to search for thread in like 2012 or 13 but then the site updated :/
-
Theres a gtq google search feature, might help.
If not im about 4000 pages deep right now -
He died from a car crash
-
7900-8000 have nothing. :( I tried to do a Google search, but no luck.
-
thank you Dark22978, but why do you say car crash?
do you remember the incident?
also thank you everyone else, I appreciate the effort -
I can help. Maybe. Mobile search plugin kinda sucks. But I'll look skatter
-
Yes; I remember the thread and contents. I'm positive he died in a car crash. I just can't find the thread itself.

Last post onthis page confirms my memory is decent:
-
This took several hours, but I did it. Here's the thread where his death was announced:
Can I ask why you wanted the thread, or is it personal? -
wow thank you so much Dark22978 I deeply appreciate that
the story is a long time ago me and hunter, who I didn't know at the time since he used the name "Holden" as in Holden Caulfield, the lead character in the book "catcher in the rye
we started talking late one night, something about getting drunk, throwing up, and the conversation led to who Holden Caulfield was, to which he told me the story and how much he liked the book.
he said I should read it and I sorta half agreed to read the book "sometime in the future" which I didn't 100% exactly plan to at all, but I agreed non the less.
Time goes by and later I find that thread that he had passed away...
flash forward to 2018, about 3 days ago, I finished the book "catcher in the rye" to pay homage to a friend and lay to rest a promise I made.
thank you again Dark22978, I appreciate the time and effort you made for a stranger like me.
