I haven’t worked out all the bugs yet!
There’s this girl and she’s half mer,( her father is Poseidon, but she lacks a mother since she was crafted by Poseidon to be the child of him and this other guy .) and she’s trying to figure out who she really is.
But
There’s like a love squarely.
There’s Angry lesbian : she’s a popular girl , exceptionally beautiful, sarcasm hides her less than ideal past. She’s a member of these people who stop the supernatural, you know...by being supernatural?

Sad bi: she’s sad. Basically she’s cursed, and dying inside but she hides it behind a sweet smile and she’s desperate to make a positive impression before she turns into water, she’s a witch.
There’s holy s--- am I gay?!: pretty confident warlock, but he realises he has feelings both for the Mer girl and her half brother and he is just like ?.? Ok cool guess I’m bi.
Then there’s I’m trustworthy gurl: she’s the info girl of the school and blackmails and bullies people and stuff.
But it’s hijinks and I d k man.
On the real tho, the romance is a side plot, a lot of it is self discovery? Like angry lesbian learns that she doesn’t need to be angry at someone, sad Bi learns she can’t and doesn’t need to please everyone -

He’s actually pretty cool TBH. He’s pretty open about liking both genders, so his big reveal is that he likes two people, and he’s confused because he thinks he loves them both, but with the brother it’s a Moreno intense flame and with the sister it’s a soft and warm light??
I haven’t decided who in the love square actually becomes canon, but I’m leaning toward angry lesbian.
