yes because runaway teenagers are risky and are at risk for violence and homelessness and all that jazz

want them to be safe and in the chance their home is an unsafe environment that can be investigated

I feel kind of guilty throwing her and her boyfriend under the bus like this and I'm afraid she's gonna throw one of her tantrums and it'll ruin our friendship but for f---'s sake man, I've been so f---ing patient with her ridiculous behavior, she's gonna get herself hurt like this and I don't know how to f---ing reason with a person like this

you know...i wouldnt be afraid of ruining the friendship. you wanna do what is best for her safety and from what i'm hearing it sounds like impulsive behavior that she'll probably regret. she may not even be in control of what she's doing. i say tell them for sure

Well if it gets to a point where she runs away with her boyfriend that means her boyfriend is the kind of guy that act first thinks later most likely abusive aswell
If her boyfriend really cared he would have prevented it from happening infact it was probably his idea
So id split on them then id beat the s--- outa the dude for acting so reckless -
If they find her and she's mad at you,you look her in the eyes and say,
"b---- WHAT THE HELL I MIGHT'VE f---IN SAVED YOU" -
Im not a nice person so i might just end up slapping her for being an idiot

safe to say I'm pretty pissed at her rn because this is the third time within the past week and a half and it's not like her home life is even bad? her parents love her so much but she's just mad at them all the time because of some deep-rooted anger
anyway she's safe and home now, also ignoring my messages so probably mad at me but if she didn't act like a f---ing 2 year old and run off this wouldn't have happened :^) -

I helped someone "run away" a while ago. He walked several miles to get to my house, was covered in bruises, and begged me and my father to drive him to his girlfriend's house. He borrowed my phone to call her and ask her what she wanted him to do. A few hours later, his mom came by searching for him. We told her where he was, and that he was (presumably) safe. I haven't heard from him since, but I'd imagine he wasn't pissed off about it. It's important to make sure that they're found, unless the situation is s---. Then you need to take them to the authorities so they can get help.
