Hi, I was just doing some research on statutory rape in England but couldn’t find the charges of it in England anywhere. Could anyone please help me out? Thanks!

Rape of a child under 13. This is a statutory offence created by section 5 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003. Any consent of the complainant is of no relevance if he or she is under the age of thirteen.
Charges:
A person guilty of rape is liable on conviction to imprisonment for life or for any shorter term.
Hope that helps tbh it seems shallow afs but the only site that gave an explanation. -
I’m not sure if it will help, but in the uk the age of consent is 16, however I’ve seen that being only applied if the partner is sixteen to seventeen?
I read that ,but I may be incorrect. -
Suspicious question.
