WOW I love my job (rant ahead)
I wasn't making salads today so tell me why a server threw a hissy fit in the front of the store, ranting to the very person she should be yelling at???
It was Friday.. My coworker went on break so the cashier came to help me make salads while I did rolls
She had so many tickets I asked if I could help her and she was like "no no no its OK just do rolls"
and there was one ticket that she left behind and never did, one I was never alerted to the existence of before she left, one I never noticed because it was modestly tucked at the far end of the ticket holders
so it went undone for 40 minutes because I was checking stock and doing rolls
When the server came by to get it, I was so confused because AGAIN, I never knew there was a ticket, I never noticed it, so I was like "well I'm sorry but I can't do a salad without a ticket.. did you just ring it in?" And the server was so mad she just stormed off
My boss came over and yelled at my coworker after he came back about it while I went to make dressings, lol, I feel bad but I'm glad it wasn't me
When I ordered my break food she was still upset with me, ranting to the cashier who never did that salad and never told me to do that salad
The server was passive aggressive the rest of the night to me 😵 -
oh yeah here's the real icing on the cake
all this happened because there were only 2 of us when there were supposed to be 4
Bur guess what! Those 2 suddenly decided they wanted a vacation and poofed and the managers never replaced them

I have to work with that really demeaning and bossy coworker tomorrow too
You know, the one who treats me like I'm a kid and calls me out for everything 🙃
It's only for 2 hours but I'm already dreading it -

ummm tonight wasn't so bad I think
that bossy coworker was surprisingly nice to me except when I didn't know the answer to a question, she got frustrated then
otherwise she laughed and joked with me and actually said thank you to me, I was kind of awkward because I didn't know how to take it
I don't know how to feel about it or if she'll be nice to me tomorrow too but I hope she will
I don't want to hate her or fight with her I just don't like getting yelled at, it triggers my anxiety.. -
but yeah I took E's shift. didn't really want to but I felt bad because he asked everyone else and they all refused
at least I should be getting paid more though -
