We went to a restaurant tonight, like we do every Wednesday evening. I teased my twelve year old sister about now having acne, made a joke about how it's payback for her teasing me. So the twit knocks over my completely full cup of ice water into my lap. It soaked through my hoodie, my shirt, my jeans, and even my boxers. It's 26 outside but I got up and took a walk anyway because that's how I calm down. It was really cold, mostly because I was wet with ice water, but I needed to walk around. Finally I came back and the staff was kind enough to clean it up, which made me feel terrible about leaving but I didn't know. But. My sister didn't even get in trouble. My dad just told her to stop being so overdramatic. She is always disrespecting me and acting out like this, and my dad just stands by and does nothing. This makes it even harder when I have to take care of her all the time and she won't listen to me. Perhaps I am overreacting at this very moment, but I am very upset. I had to sit in wet clothes for an hour while we all ate and then my dad went and smoked his pipe for a while before taking us home. I wish they both would be more responsible and I wish my dad were more considerate.

wow, that really sucks and i'm sorry. i would totally be upset too. my sister is kind of similar with how emotional and dramatic she is. she yells and slams doors when we argue and is a brat when she doesn't get what she wants. my mom spoiled her because she doesn't want to hear her b----, but i don't like seeing her get walked all over on. it seems like that's what may be happening with your dad, and it worries me because if he doesn't do anything then your sister will become even worse.
i can't really offer a solution, but i would stand my ground when she tries to push you around. you are the older sibling and you took care of her. it makes me u to know she doesn't treat you with the respect you deserve. -
