I'm going to be completely honest here, and say that the thought of college is making me nervous. In literally two weeks I'll start college and then boom
I wanna go back to middle school -
I don't start college for another two years. I know I want to leave a year to save money to make sure I can pay for college. I need to earn scholarships because I know my parents won't pay for it.

That's smart, really. I started saving my money when I was twelve, and kept it in a piggy bank. Years of birthday money, paychecks and random money recieved, I got enough to pay for four years, surprisingly.
The only problem I have with college is the price for a dorm. (believe it or not, they cost around $5,000 where I live.) Even though that covers the entire four years (with cable, wifi, and yeah) I don't have that kind of money 😂
My parents would give me money for it, but I couldn't ask. I'm an adult, and I should try to do this on my own, instead of depending on my parents. -
I'm hoping i can get a job before school starts and then I would know for sure I would have enough money. I've tried to save my money, but my parents are always in a bind with bills and things, that the money I get never lasts.
My biological mom pay child support, but I never get any of that money either. My parents said when I get a job, I have to play them for living there, so I won't have that much left. I think I can save up enough to go to college. If not, I'll have to save up for two years. -
You guys can also take out a loan. That's what I have to do in order to go to my university which is like $20,000 a semester. I suggest going to a college in your state because it's a lot cheaper.

DaughterOfApollo: Wow, I haven't seen you on here in a while OwO I was considering that, but I was also wondering how long it would take to pay back a loan.

I know, I've been busy and gone lol. But when you apply for financial aid, there's usually another thing you have to fill out before you can take out one of the loans and it's sort of like a quiz but not really and it just basically makes sure you know how long it'll take you to pay off the loan. But you don't have to worry about paying off the loan till I think 6 months after you graduate, so by then you should have a job which you use to pay off the loans.

DaughterOfApollo: If I don't get a scholarship, I might end up doing that. This year I have to focus on the Senior Project the school has us do. If I don't finish that, I won't graduate, even if I do pass my classes. How have you been?

Or just take a gap year and work in order to get more money. You have to do a senior project? That sucks. Well, I woke up to me cramping really bad and this heating pad isn't helping so I think I'm just going to try to get in the hot tub. What about you?

DaughterOfApollo: That was my original plan. I just don't know how much I'll be able to save if I'm still staying with my parents. I'm planning on getting a job and renting a place. Just depends. Yeah, I have to create a slideshow and write a 4-8 page paper. I think the hot tub would help with that :D I'm pretty decent here. Just trying to write and reading through an old thread of mine.

How much would you have to pay your parents if you stayed with them? 4-8 pages isn't too bad. Just repeat the same thing but in a different way. Plus, if you're passionate about the topic that you have to do it on, then you should be fine.

They want me to contribute to everything. The bills, the groceries. It would at least be three hundred to four hundred dollars a month, and from what I hear, that's almost a complete paycheck. Not to mention, four hundred dollars would completely pay the rent at our house.

Hmm what if you asked them how much you would have to pay a month? Because if you were to rent your own apartment, it'd probably be about the same amount. I know apartments where I live are usually about $700 a month.
