Yeah, you need to use slope, but in this instance slope= r( standard deviation of y divided by the standard deviations of x)
I need to find predicted y which equals a+bx where apparently a = mean of y - b times the mean of x

I'm prepping for a test, don't really have any questions. Just need to get formulas down... and terminology. The formulas/ equations I need to get are LSR and the residual formula.

add up x and y. then for each sum find the σ with SR(#-M)^2
b= r [σ(y/x)] and a= - b(x)
