If you are brave enough, approach her. Tell her that you don't appreciate rumors being spread- that you have feelings, just as anyone else, and that you're hurt by what she is saying. Perhaps offer to hear her out as to why she's spreading those rumors? Sometimes people spread rumors to catch your attention. It's obviously a bad way to do so, but maybe she wants to say something to you. That's also a good opportunity to tell her that you'd prefer for her to say any "insult" or opinion to YOU personally, and not to others around the classroom/school.
