i have xmas lights in my bed year round and they're connected to a power strip with a switch. i use them like a bedside lamp but they go all the way around.

Mines just interwoven around my room, hanging on a window

You know, I was only given this small thing of lights I cant really do much with it xD fortunately theres a plug by my bed -
most years i buy lights after xmas cause they get really cheap. i once got a string of 100 lights for 50 cents
