Thread Topic: what's the appeal of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure

I am going to watch it as a joke, but really
by stylistic choice, you can either think it's the most detailed, unique thing you have ever saw in anime or just not that appealing to the eyes
I just think it's just a more vivid and psychedelic version of Dragon Ball Z where over-the-top fighting and muscular men duel because god knows what
they are both ran by meme fuel and will die out eventually -
The story is in its name really. A series of bizarre adventures that are all somehow linked to each other. Parts 1 through 6 follow generations of the Joestar family bloodline, part 7 is an alternate universe and I believe part 8 is as well.
Honestly, watching it is fun, but reading it gives you more depth.
And as the artist's style changes over time, the characters start to become less beefy. -
I know you don't like to follow trends or anything, but I feel like you should give it a genuine shot. If you really can't stand it, well, to all their own.
