The weather was pretty bad as it was raining a lot, and I started to notice that my bike had a soft tyre when I was about 20 minutes from home and then my tyre went completely flat (I still managed to cycle home, although much slower) If I walked it would take about an hour.
And then at some point my bike ended up stopping and the tube of the bike got stuck. I managed to get home ok, fortunately. Although my mum didn't notice. And I don't know what to do with my bike, and I don't know the cause of the flat tyre. -
sometimes the rain loosens up the tubing around it the tire, and so air spills out.

It might be due also to the fact that it is new, although I have no idea how to fix a bike or what causes flat tyres, so yeah it's probably due to bad weather.

You usually just have to re inflate it.

My bicycle pump is useless and I can't use pumps at petrol stations till I'm 16

It's probably a blowout. Since it was a sudden loss of air.
