Just like when I was suddenly unable to eat, I can't remember exactly when I was able to eat again. However, I just ate a whole thing of box macaroni and I ate dinner 4/5 times this past week, so things are looking up.

the disc froze

ok let me write this guide to myself so I can do all of this again after we either get a new disc or get this one buffered
-first turn, pull back
-have Gilos cast Haste on every party member (Lulu, Auron, Yourself)
-cast Slow on Evrae
-use all three missiles while using Lulu to cast Focus and Reflex on everyone
-have Gilos Cheer a bunch
-once all missiles are used, have Lulu chip away at Evrae with Fira until Evrae is down to at least 20000
-shift Rikku in for Lulu and move in
-have Rikku use Al Bhed potion when needed and also throw Bomb Cores
-have Auron use Power Break, Mental Break and normal attacks
-use Gilos' overdrive (Energy Rain) to knock Evrae down considerably
-at this point Evrae should be almost dead anyway so just use Auron and Gilos' normal attacks to defeat them
Also, you should probably get all party members to Overdrive before entering the battle, but only use Lulu's Overdrive when far away and don't use the others until you close in.
