Xavier walked through the woods with haste. It was the short cut to his house. He had to get there before his mother found the Deathnote. Whoever touches the notebook can see the previous Shinigami owner. Tyruk had said. Thanks for waiting so long to tell me. Xavier thought as he sped up into a sprint. The police had been hunting for months for the person who'd been killing off all the criminals in the area. "Kira" they called the mysterious being. He couldn't let anyone find it. He snuck in the back door and hurried up into his room. He closed the door behind him, being sure to lock it. He leaned against the door and slid to sit on the floor. He let out a sigh of relief as he picked up the loose floorboard and took out the notebook. He opened it, looking through the hundreds of names scrawled in his handwriting, flowing on page after page. It was safe... for now.

Theresa walked quietly through town, eyes on the ground. A light rain fell, and she enjoyed the relief from all the hot weather.

Fawn blinked, and followed the string behind a tree. She tilted her head at Butterfly, confused.
Amia looked over at Alex, and snorted. "So you're on the other end of the rope then." -
Butterfly just blinked, and said "Er hi.."
Alex glared, and said "So your the brat who tied this to my finger!" -
"H-hi." Fawn said.
"WHat are you talking about? You tied the strings to me!" Amia exclaimed, tugging at them again. "And I can't get the damn things off."
