Muse A has always seemed a little out of place. Their diction is a little outdated, their manners polished and elegant, their style too classy for a college senior majoring in house parties. And, man, can Muse A throw a party. It's rare that their (impossibly lavish) house isn't full of people that Muse A doesn't even know personally. Not just heavy bass and bad alcohol parties, either; Full-on balls, tuxedo events, masquerades. (Although there are some heavy bass and bad alcohol parties.)
Muse B, having only recently transferred to Muse A's college, sees a poster for one of the more formal parties, a masquerade of sorts. Fascinated and looking to make new friends, Muse B attends, and gets a bit more than they bargained for. Muse A is a wonderful host to everyone, but seems to pay a bit of extra attention to Muse B, always just a few feet away and constantly talking to them as if they're not only acquaintances, as if they've known each other their whole life. Muse B is a little freaked out, but stays polite, even agreeing to stay for the "after party" when Muse A requests.
At the after party, Muse B finds that all but two other guests, Muse A making three, have left, as have the music and masks. Muse A and the strangers all bear a remarkable resemblance to each other, and seeing all three of them together, Muse B suddenly feels like they've been in this situation multiple times before. Completely confused and a little scared, Muse B prepares to leave, but Muse A doesn't beat around the bush.
That's how Muse B becomes entangled in the life of an immortal, who seeks out the reincarnations of people for others, puts families and lovers back together, pushes great leaders towards their destines and stops evil before it can reach its full velocity again. It's not a fool proof plan, because although Muse A is immortal, they can explain that their kind can and do die- And that Muse B, like the other two, is the missing fourth to the "deck of cards." And, that now that they have the Heart back, they can truly get started on saving the world. -

Astoria is my personal theme song, but Masterpiece Theater III is a close seconds. Honestly, their rock operas are really, really good.

I really, really just want Jasmine to f---ing acknowledge that she did something wrong.
Lowkey want to expose her. Print out the texts, plaster them all over the school. Send her girlfriend exactly what happened that night, what we did, the real story, all of it
because I am so done with people thinking she deserves to be happy
she deserves to be f---ing shot -
also, One Love is shaking me bad

But what if here and now, I tell you that I'm all figured out?
Or maybe I just like how that sounds.
The way his voice breaks on that line, it kills me. -
