Later that night, while flipping through the book, I stumbled across a picture I'd never seen before. "Huh, that's odd." I shrugged, book marked the page, and curled under the covers.
-
I woke up the next morning, Saturday. I got dressed and went to the library, where I volunteered every Saturday.
-
Saturday. A day to sleep until noon, and stay up until two the next morning. Unfortunatly, nothing of that sort happened. Fredrick woke up early, and I had to get him a breakfast of eggs, bacon, pancakes, and OJ.
-
I would get carts filled with books, and I would have to run around the whole library like an idiot organizing them by genre and author.
-
Once he was eating in peace, I headed back to my room. There, I took another look at the picture. "Hum, almost looks like....-nah."
-
After about two hours, I had two sore feet, dislocated eyes from all of the writing, and useless ears, because it was so quiet. I went back home and called Lillian, eager to see that book.
-
"Hey Girania, I hope your morning is better then mine." I said, batting away tiny hands that kept grabbing at my hair.
-
"Well, lets think of it this way. In a fight, who would win? A huge full of books, or Fredrick?"
-
a huge cart*
-
"Oi, I'd say tie." I replied, sighing as he succeded in grabbing my poneytail.
-
"Then out mornings were equally horrible." I answer
-
"So, why don't we try making them a little less horrible. My aunt should be here in a few minutes to pick him up, and you can have a look at the book I got." I said.
-
"Okay, I'll be at your house in about 15 minutes. Bye!"
-
"Bye." I said, watching my aunt's rusty brown truck pull up.
-
In a little bit, I was on Lily's porch. I knocked on the door.
