i usually try to put something healthy in with everything i eat that's unhealthy. sorta lower the sugar/caffeine levels a little bit that way
for example, i ate two cookies yesterday with an apple and some banana slices -
Is that that a dieting technique?
I don't want to get any thinner, but will that do that? Or will I get to a healthier weight? -
well, i'm not sure because i've never tried actually losing weight. it's just a way to stay at least semi-healthy i think
-
Ok thank you:-)

personally, i eat a very light breakfast (usually consisting of a cup of naked and a banana, maybe a granola bar)
lunch is just a little heavier, but i make it very balanced (i usually have something from every food group in my lunch) (usually consists of either a salad w/ tuna/salmon/grilled chicken, a fruit like grapes or apples, some nuts (i prefer unsalted almonds/cashews), sometimes i have a babybel cheese thingy or a light yogurt)
and dinner is the heaviest meal, but try to eat dinner between 6 and 6:30, it's the healthiest time to eat (usually consists of a hearty meat or fish, steamed or baked greens/veggies (kale, broccoli, cauliflower, etc etc), grain depending on the night)
try to keep bad carbs/sugars out of your system. every once in a while is okay, but they're obviously not good for you
salt is okay, but don't eat much of it (especially in processed foods) teenagers really shouldn't have much of it. keep it about 1000mg or less
you'll be of a healthier weight if you do little things like that. if you work out, continue to, just remember not to do it excessively. if you don't work out, it's okay, but stretching, yoga, a cardio circuit, bedroom exercises, and some weight training are all good
