Ugh and hen I responded really awfully I remember that I was so mean to you :(
My oc’s used to be ridiculously op, they still are because I prefer to try to a balance characters out with flaws rather than power limits?
Like I have power limits and stuff but I don’t rely on them?
I find it more interesting like this.
“ Cora has siren powers but during battle she’s useless because she has stage fright, she needs to be hidden or she freezes, “ over “ Cora can only sing for three minutes before getting tired,” -
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHFŲCK

Okay so the agenda for this week
Wednesday: quiz in honors lit about shakespearean text, and a worksheet is due for ap world history
Thursday: quiz in honors lit about othello acts 1 and 2, and a debate about alcohol in health & fitness
Friday: quiz in honors lit about vocab, and a test in ap world history
No halloween for me I guess.. also no free time, and also no sanity
To top it all off it's that time of the month again -
Looks like you got your plate full, my friend.
-
I really do!! But I will try my best to respond specifically to the halloween roleplays
-
Hey, its fine, I get busy too. Just respond when you can.
-
I don't wanna leave you guys hanging though 🙏🙏

Hakuna Matata, my friend. You'll get there when you get there.

You're so uplifting and positive roboticlus :DD
Here's a quick rant before I have to spend the next 3 hours studying:
Micheal Cassio from Othello is an absolute babey. I hate Iago for his actions but he's pretty interesting as a character. Othello himself is kind of bland, he's your average protaganist and his only weaknesses seem to be his insecurities about his age and race. Desdemona is boring too. Everyone just ends up being used as Iago's pawns, and I find it intensely interesting.
Also, I have a headcannon that Iago and Roderigo are gay for each other and Desdemona is secretly trans but couldn't express it due to the time period they were in and her high social class
Othellos explains how Desdemona fell in love with him and says "She swore, in faith, twas strange, 'twas passing strange,
'Twas pitiful, 'twas wondrous pitiful:
She wish'd she had not heard it, yet she wish'd
That heaven had made her such a man: she thank'd me,"
That heaven made her such a man, huh? And then when the duke assigns them to go to Cyprus, Desdemona wants to go with Othello, her husband that she literally JUST married. But why? Just to be able to consummate their marriage? I think not. I think she personally wants to experience the dangers, the wonder, and the excitement of Othello's life as a soldier, and ultimately, as a man!
Also Roderigo and Iago havea lot of scenes together, alone. When we watched a movie version of Othello, they were very touchy-feely. Some may beg to differ and say that Iago only used Roderigo to take advantage of his love for Desdemona and cause further choas towards Othello (who he hates a lot) but I say that Iago secretly cares under all that sociapathy. In one scene Rodeeigo was like "I'M GONNA DROWN MYSELF" and Iago tried to make light of it by saying "Silly man, if you do that I won't love thee afterward" LOVE THEE????? Gay gay gay. I'm calling it! My gaydar is never wrong!
But of course, it'll just remain my personal headcannon because
1. I've already studied the syory before we started reading it in class and I know nothing lgbt of the sort happens and
2. Because of the time period Shakespearean plays were written in
--But yeah that's all, time to study like over 100 vocab for that stupid test uhhhhh -
Inverted note: I have An Idea
-
@SE
If you don't tell me your idea I might do something stupid, I'm dying of curiosity -
Okay here it is:
The ongoing Newbie roleplay, but it takes place in the facility from TWRiE.
Maybe the characters have their own mini-sidequests. Maybe they're getting up to shenanigans in the facility. Maybe there's a special part of the facility just for training/adventures etc.
It'd be a good way to introduce Newbies to roleplaying with any type of character they wanted, like a character from a show or a Mary Sue, and it'd be realistic within the setting for these characters to appear/disappear as needed.
Then if necessary Hitanaku could be there, or other mentor-figures portrayed by more experienced users.
What do you think? -
Sounds like a great idea!!
I like how TWRiE is so versatile, even though it all began when I was staring at my phone screen and I was bored and I was like "okay but what if I could play moonyoung in a roleplay.."
I can make the thread tomorrow perhaps ?? (Because it's 22:22 right now and I'm getting a headache and I got school tomorrow ughh) -
Amazing! Don't forget to put something in the description to let people know they can join at any time
-
Of course!! I'll go make it right now :D
