No, no one is dying for you to become a moderator. And I am pretty sure GTQ Guy is content with the already-s--- moderators he loves so-
You're never becoming a moderator. If you do, everyone here is an official moron. -
You know it's true because Drew said it. Not because Drew has a history of saying accurate things or anything, but because statistically speaking, it has to happen at least once.

Currently, we're not looking for more moderators. I'd suggest just hanging around a while, establishing yourself as a prominent user around here, and letting everyone get to know you so they can judge for themselves whether they'd like you as a moderator.

They'll elect them just to spite people that genuinely care for this website.
I care for this website, and in it's best interest NOT electing anymore s---ty moderators would be pretty awesome. -
Even though i did do it myself, along with loads of others, stop the person for mod 2k16/17 s--- because really GTQ guy can decide himself whether he wants certain people. Legit, he could be online but not posting, and seeing all the buzz around. He could be deciding the new moderators, for all we know. Probably thats why he hardly ever posts.

I wouldn't want Magie as a moderator, firstly because this site doesn't need any new mods, so this statement would be to anybody, especially those that want to be a mod. And also I don't think she's been on it long enough to be a mod as she's only been here for a few months.

While I'm certainly not encouraging anymore of the campaign threads, that's not entirely true. The original mods were elected taking into account the opinions of everyone around, because GTQ Guy has always been rather adamant on giving his userbase a say in how things go around here. That's why he held out on letting regular users access the "offensive" button for so long, even after they began abusing it. He does utilize his own knowledge in making these decisions, but he'll also take into account what everyone else has to say when the time comes.

Alright, again, everyone, it's fine if you don't want them as a mod. We're not looking for new mods now anyway. All I want you to consider is the following: Everyone started somewhere. The people you love and respect now may have been less admirable when they were younger. People grow and change. When the time does come to consider new mods, the people you dislike now will be older and could very well be completely different people.
