the catchiness can get to you sometimes
but man

I know music is subjective and I am definitely not one of those nostalgiafags that think music from an old ass vintage era sounds better than modern music (they are pretty much the same and have the same perpetuated formula and marketing)
But how repetitive it all sounds make it seem so.. boring
Don't get me wrong, the songwriters know how to make a catchy song so the masses can hear it a million times on the radio and the artist can laugh their way to the bank
but generic music sucks objectively in technical terms (sound design, vocals, the lack of creativity and creating a product that only sells and doesn't do anything else, yada yada) -
