xD Can't help you with Rants, other than they're a user on here hidden behind that identity to stalk s---/complain about the site while being a wuss and not getting on their main account. So they naturally look like they're a girl needing some f---in' chocolate or some s--- to calm their crap down.
As for the IP thing, I don't really know? I mean, I used it a loooong time ago, when there was a bug where I was redirected to an ad and the normal gtq address was basically broken. GTQ Guy himself asked me to use it, and it worked a little bit better. But I didn't know people still use it. -
