I kicked my stand over because I accidentally moved my foot over my bed and not under my blanket because my feet feel like ice.
It's actually cold in Georgia right now. w o w z aI went to pick it up, but I ended up tripping over air and scraping my knee. I didn't really have a reaction. I just sat in a ball on the floor for a minute and sighed. -
I'm also really nervous. um uh daaa wa
*story time*
I was hanging out with Taylor at my house yesterday. She was showing me last year's LGPE performance and some of this season's half time shows. She pointed out what they did wrong and what they did right because I'm not a marcher yet. She is. She then says, "Let me teach you how to march, the drill." She showed me that and said, "Band camp is going to be hard on you." Of course I asked why. She said, "It's in June, and that's literally the hottest month of the year. You spend a lot of time outside learning the drills and routines. The big thing is a lot of people lock their knees during parade rest, so blood can't get to their brain. We had a lot of people throwing up and passing out. Don't lock your knees." I just awkwardly smiled. -
I'm also really prone to getting nauseated. It's just a wonderful combination.
-
They don't stop if you throw up or pass out. They finish the drill, go to attention, salute, and you're going to keep going as long as you're not dead. Repeat.
-
that sounds pretty bad :( why push someone like that? like at least let them take a break bro

You're not allowed to march if your physical says you can't. I have to get a physical before I go to banr camp. If you have any heart problems, breathing problems, or something that can cause problems, you're not allowed to march period.

*band
I actually have to go to two camps. I have to go to rookie camp which is for first year marchers only. Then I have to go to the big band camp with everyone from grades 8 to 12. -
I'm on my bed snuggled up to a huge stuffed bear because I'm really cold.
-
I'm from Georgia. I'm used to nasty and sticky heat. Room temperature is cold to me. It's been in the mid to low sixties. I will die if the temperature drops any further.
-
IT IS 55 DEGREES OUTSIDE GOTTA BLAST
-
Now I have an excuse to wear oversized hoodies and to hide in beanies when my hair looks bad.
-
I never wore shorts when it was hot because everyone told me to shave, and I didn't want to. No one ever saw my legs, so I don't see why it matters.
-
It's their loss because I have some nice legs.
-
At least I don't look like Bigfoot. I'm not very hairy.
-
I'm pretty fit honestly. I still go tumbling when the mat is out. I have spectacular upper body strength for a biological female since biological males are naturally stronger due to the testosterone in their bodies which causes them to have more muscles. You have to hold your body weight on your hands a lot and have balance. I can run. At least I'm not a walking fat roll like some kids.
