And what are ways to force yourself back to sleep?
I've been having some s---ty sleeping habits that progressively got worse. It went from waking up around 5 and falling asleep around 6:30 (30 min before I had to be up) to me waking up at 12, 2, 4, unable to sleep for hours and resulting in me being really drowsy all day. I thought maybe it was caused by my little naps but I didn't take one yesterday and I woke up even earlier than usual, unable to sleep for four hours! I'm just curious to know how others deal with it, because I'd like to get my sleeping back on track. -
Try drinking warm milk before you sleep, but if that doesn't work, drink a glass of water. The immune system needs a form of liquid right before you fall asleep so it fuctions properly.

Different things mine was constant nightmares.)

I do t drink milk, but I'll try to do so tonight and see if it helps anyway. I wasn't aware that was something you needed. Then again, I don't take in proper amounts of food/liquids so I'm sure that's a part of the problem.. Thank you!
Tbh I don't know if I wake up because of nightmares. I hardly remember my dreams, if I dream at all. -
You can try reading a really interesting novel in bed. Switch off your mobile and computer 1 hour before bed and take a warm shower and balanced diet before going to sleep. Now, when you lay down your head to sleep, think of someone you deeply love. Think what would it be like if that person and you were hugging, and cuddling at that moment. Try this and post your result. 😀 Hope this helps. 😃 -
you could try sleeping medication, thats what I do. Or they have these drinks which have melatonin in it which helps you sleep.

I DID READ AN INTERESTING NOVEL BEFORE BED Dx and it didn't help lol. But I'll try everything else. Even though, that last one, I do that a lot too. x3

so many late posts HNNN
hmm, I've never thought of sleeping medication. But are they all pills? I have a difficult time taking pills OTL -
oh wait you said there are drinks x'D where can you find those? Anywhere?
-
for the most part they are pills, and the drinks can be found at Walmart or some pharmacy.

Here's what I personally like to do...
I play with lots of cold water in the day. It makes me fall sick at night and it also tires me a lot. Then I take pills, which has a side effect that makes me fall asleep quickly. And you can figure out the rest, I guess. ^-^ -
pills are disgusting things that should be burned in order to please the side of humanity that cannot swallow them... But I'll look into that, since I really, really need more sleep. Thank you!
Huh, cold water helps you sleep? I feel like it would be the opposite- as in, it keeps you awake. -
You didn't know I'm crazy?
Yup, I get fever and well I carve sleep. My eyes automatically shut off and in the middle of the night it's sooo cozy. Besides, I'm getting used to nightmares. -
Usually when I wake up in the middle of the night, I'm too tired to stay up and just end up going back to sleep. What keeps me up or puts me to sleep depends on how I'm feeling.
Sleep disturbances aren't always caused by problems we're aware of. Trying to reduce stress and doing things to make yourself tired at a certain time can help.
I know you hate pills, so you could try to get Zzzquil, which I believe comes in a liquid form, to help you sleep.
If possible, try talking to your parents or a counselor - whoever will listen - about trouble with sleep.
