Okay, kiddos. Enough of this 'landwhale' bulls---. I'm about to tell you what REAL triggering is.
To be 'triggered' is NOT to be offended by something. It's actually quite different from that. To be triggered is to have a certain stimulus, be it a word, a place, a person etc, set off (or trigger) a memory linking back to a traumatic point in your life (i.e. rape, a local terrorist attack, or any sort of horrible event), resulting in negative effects like anxiety attacks (and that's just one of the many things that can come from being triggered. Trust me, it can get so much worse). It is NOT something to be treated lightly.
I'll conclude this with a rundown of tips for if you ever come across someone who can be triggered.
1: Do not make fun of them. Triggering is a serious issue which should be treated with care and respect.
2: Do not start calling them things like 'SJW' or 'Landwhale' or whatever other bulls--- you might associate with triggering. It has nothing to do with that.
3: Do not, I repeat, do NOT (I repeat again, f---ING DO NOT) attempt to trigger them. You should already know this, but I'm saying it anyway. DON'T TRY TO TRIGGER PEOPLE, YOU f---ING a--hole. Don't even consider it. You can do some serious damage to a person's mental state if you do. You keep that in f---ing mind.
Now, I'd appreciate some upvotes so we can get this ACTUAL definition of triggering to be the top definition, so no one has to see that disgustingly mean 'landwhale' definition again.

Honestly I get a little annoyed when someone tells me not to go on the internet if I'm going to get upset over stupid things ( usually when my cousin keeps spamming me pictures of lots of food and how she wants eating disorders and that I'm lucky and so ungrateful that I have one ) but they don't seem to realise the internet is a quicker and faster way for research, or things I need for school.
To be honest looking at food can make me nauseous in real life , it upsets me so much to see other people eating or lots of food that I go way earlier for lunch than everyone else eat a terrible amount of what I bought then go to the library to do my job, at the house I usually stay upstairs until they've either eaten all of the food or until it's put away I really struggle watching other people eat. But no rather than you respecting me and not talking about how I'm fat and should lose weight or posting pictures of food without warning me where you know I will see it , talking about eating disorders I should just get off the internet -

" Just eat" forcing myself to eat has worked so well in the past hasn't it? No it f---ing hasn't. I'm currently recovering from anorexia that doesn't mean I no longer have an eating disorder and I don't struggle and get upset when you say the s--- that you say it's not attention whoring I don't go up to people and talk about it -
" You'll eat soup though anorexia is just an excuse for rude children to be picky" yes there was one dish that I could keep down and it was usually a liquid like substance, but I couldn't eat more than one bowl at the most, so yeah maybe sometimes it had vegetables and chicken in it and being able to eat soup most likely kept me from dying or something so shut the f--- up

It bugs me when someone has anorexia down as a personality trait for a character , just adding to the list of how emo she is , as yes I've only ever encountered it for female characters who has large boobs and are really skinny , but what really is the toothpaste on the mustard cake is that she usually wolfs down large amounts of sugar and doesn't get fat but yet she's so anorexic because she'd rather have f---ing salad?
A friend of mine ( I met because if anorexia ) can sometimes eat a cupcake or a fairy cake for breakfast a small cake but that's about it, and only because she's been raised in a bakery so small cakes are all around her and she's eaten them for a long time , she however isn't healthy right now and is an in-patient on a drip right now. Anorexica and insomnia shouldn't be used how you f---ing use it. -

So plum is complaining that her Older sister Hannah got to go see a musical ( Chitty Chitty bang bang or whatever ) while plum and like went to the caravan , the Harry Potter train and the enchanted forest with us?
Her sister bought the tickets herself with her first pay check? She's has an apprenticeship in a law firm I think? -
