Say yes and break it to you're parents you're getting older and you need to experiment with your love life or else you'll grow up and when you first date someone and they break up with you the impact will be humongous and new. If you date while youre a kid, you're parents are always there to help with that impact. If you're an adult though they will expect you to fix your own problems an they won't get that you don't know how and it could result in depression or insanity.

SadnessKimberly Newbieim not sure, because if I do break it to them they will get mad and angry, Ill get grounded, and my dad will scream and sware. Thats how it works in my family.

I'd say wait until you're 13-14.. Having your parents agree can be really important. Going against them could lose their trust, or worse, make a bad impression on them. If he does ask you out, tell your parents. Tell them you like him, and you want a chance to prove you can be trusted. If they say no, don't push it. Tell the dude what's up. If he doesn't understand or moves on quickly, you'll know he's not for you.
