if i work there i think i'll get 145 a week. and i get paid every 2 weeks so that's about 290 every paycheck

and the grocery store down the road is hiring and the minimum age to work there is 14

That literally makes no sense.
1) Why would a 14 year old that didn't even finish their required years of high school would get paid that much for part-time?
2) Why is my 20 year old sister, that works at a expensive clothing store, works part-time and gets less than a 14 year old that isn't even in college yet, let alone just started high school?
