I've always liked music and everything about it. I just never seriously picked up an instrument until last summer. I can now play drums, guitar, piano, and clarinet for band.

I was taught how to play drums when I was seven, but I dropped it for years and picked it back up last summer.

I might switch to a brass instrument in high school because it's another instrument to add to what I can already play, and woodwinds have really boring parts in most of the pieces we play. We have one called Afterburn, and the you just go short and fast with the same note, F for me, for four measures. Then you go Eb, E, E, E [repeat four times], etc.

All of those notes are dotted quarter notes, so it's funny to watch some kids get lost because they didn't notice that all of those notes are dotted.

Brass also play with a different time signature. Woodwinds play commom time. Some kids will forget and play with the same time signature as the brass. That's not right.

Yes, and it tells you on the sheet music.
