okay i've tried to stay calm about this but i'm actually terrified for election day
trump is in the lead right now and i really don't think he should be. it makes me feel scared, ashamed and disappointed that there are people out there that actually support this man and his views
he's xenophobic- islamophobic and hispanophobic especially, and he doesn't seem to care much for black lives either
his VP also is funding conversion therapy, which makes me absolutely scared for my life
i'm reading about it and i don't want to have to go through nausea, vomiting, electric shocks, being forced to look at homoerotic pictures, being talked down upon like i'm a piece of dirt... i don't want that!! i dont!!! want! that!!!!!
i am who i am, and i feel like if trump becomes president someone might out me and i might have to go through that
not only that, but other LGBT+ people too
i'm also terrified for the muslims and the latino/latina people who are going to be hit HARD with discrimination and hate
i thought america was the land of the free and home of the brave. i thought we were supposed to embrace our diversity and love each other. that's what our founding fathers wanted
why does trump want to take that step back? we've had a history of racial segregation, slavery, religious discrimination and lgbt+ people have gone through a hard time for a long time too. america was never great. it's 2016, this stuff still shouldn't be happening, and the fact that there are actually people who support this man and want all these changes, it's absolutely disgusting and horrifying
i very very very dearly hope that hillary clinton becomes president, because if not then we are going to go way downhill, many lives will be lost, and it's going to become so much worse for everyone other than the rich straight cisgendered white people
i'm so scared and i'm sad i can't do anything to help because i'm too young to vote

like i literally can not stop thinking about it
in four days it will literally be life or death for the lgbt+ community, muslims, and black and latino lives
i really hope we prove to be better than that. we're better than this
we're better than being at each others throats all the time, always hating and discriminating against one another
i really hope we can prove that we're better than a racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic pig for a president
hillary isn't the best choice, but i know that she will be much better than trump
