Probably compared there, I suppose
-
It's just horrible here, not where I live, but horrible in general.
-
Do you live in a rich area?
-
Yes. It's in the outskirts of the city.
-
Oh
-
When I think of India I mainly think everyone is poor
-
It is surrounded by two very small villages on either sides, farms, and a national expressway.
What's the area like where you live? -
Haha that's the way they show our country
-
I've moved a lot so it's varied. A couple were in the middle of the countryside with like nothing nearby but fields and two were next to a farm. Right now it is sort of suburban though
-
Yes it is :/
-
That should be a really pretty area.
I've moved a lot too. I am not originally a resident of where I live and people always ask me where I belong from, and it's really annoying.
In a movie a tourist is shown who says he came to India to see 'poor and hungry people' :/ -
Yeah those were my favourite places :( I miss them
I don't think I've actually seen any documentaries of an India that's not poor :/ -
the countryside I mean
-
Aw
They do so to earn money. Actually it's a very complex network of money. The earlier government of india was corrupt. They let others show a bad image of the country. Then international organisations would see poor and hungry people, they will send funds. These documentary makers, NGOs and the government would then use the money for their own purpose, and india would be still there.
But the present government is curbing these things. They've banned such NGOs. -
Not sure
It's probably just a true image?
