Almost all of my dreams involve people I hold close dying. It's usually them getting shot or them committing suicide. If a dream doesn't involve death, it's me jumping into an endless pit and it never ending. It's vivid, and it's terrifying. Sometimes it's these dreams where I lose vision, but it's not black. I can't see reality. All I hear are gunshots and screaming along with a constant pounding sound. My vision is like these swirls. There's a voice that tells me everything that I don't want to happen in life at the moment will come true. It feels like I'm on the verge of a panic attack. It's all too vivid. It feels incredibly real, but it's not.

I've been told Oh, it's just anxiety. You just have anxiety. Okay, but pointing out the obvious doesn't help. I'd like to know what actually causes it because it can't be anxiety alone. I want it to stop.

It's another reason why I stay up as long as my body will allow me to. I don't enjoy having violent dreams where there's guns and fire everywhere. I don't like watching people die and seeing nothing but blood. It's not assuring like Hey, everything is going to be okay. No, it's the opposite. It's awful.

I barely have nightmares like that, or nightmares in general. Maybe once a couple of months I have one. My dreams consist of.. shiver-
School and other weird stuff.
But maybe your dreams are subconsciously telling you something about your life? -
I have nothing but nightmares.
What would blood and death tell me about life? -
I have this reoccurring dream where I'm looking for a close friend in a dark forest. I get dizzy, and I can't walk straight. I lose vision, and I find out later they've been murdered.
-
That's horrible
-
I can't sleep for more than two hours straight, and it's rare if I do. I either get a different nightmare, or the previous nightmare continues if I go back to sleep.

Dude that sucks
-
Yikes. I would go see a therapist about that.
-
I always wake up sweating and/or shaking. There's no end to it, and I'm tired of it.
-
I told my mom briefly about it, and I don't think she took it too seriously.

-
We have melatonin, but it's not my melatonin.
