Does that say "goner"?
-
Which phrase? Last one means "I want to die." Cuz I was embarrased. First two were konbanwa (good evening) and ogenki desuka (how are you?)
-
Ooooh. Yeah, google translate sucks. xD I don't know Japanese characters very well, gomen.

モンダイナイ(^_^)
^No problem. -
Yay, thanks!
So what made you decide to start learning? And just how much do you know? :o -
I've been interested in teaching English in Japan for about two years now. I want to teach long enough to gain citizenship, so I'm learning for that purpose. :)
Pretty basic stuff. Probably only at a second or third grade literacy. Kanji kicks my ass (and is very common) D: -
Oh, that's awesome! Are you planning on living there, then?
How many grades are there? o.o You seem to be pretty fluent to me. And I don't even know kanji, I only know the written forms. (forgot the word for it LOL) -
Yep.
I wish. xD There are as many grades as there are here. I think I need to be at least at a fifth grade level. I only know really basic things and casual greetings (and how to order food and stuff). But unfortunately for me kanji is a major part of the language as it's used in names for proper nouns.
Hm... Romanji? -
That sounds like fun. I wish you good luck for your future.
Oh, I see.. So basically you just have to know a certain amount to be able to teach. Do you also have to do something special in college to do that?
Yeah, that's the word.
