I didn't bug them actually. I received the info from someone and checked it up to see if it was correct. Would you rather want misinformation to be spread about someone's relative location or the actual truth? Pick your poison.
The detective doesn't actually. They are, as their name self-explains, a detective. They have reliable sources to find information, and they don't reveal how they get certain stuff.
And actually, they were on point. The person that posted the hilarious paragraph on the wikia confessed and were using a proxy that gave them the ability to exchange their IP address frequently. He actually did find the correct one afterwards, probably when the person exited out of the proxy or VPN. And the person who did it was the old Misty, and she wanted to get back at me because I didn't believe that she hsd cancer and that she has custody over a minor despite them being a minor and lied about their rape. -
Then why were you along with several users 1. Making threads questioning the user and 2. Posting in her thread asking questions? That sounds like bugging to me. This problem shouldn't exist. The user should not be scared to come online because people are trying to scramble for answers about whether or not they live somewhere. That is an awful way to feel and if they don't want you to know the answer, you should have respected it from the very start.
It still gives them no right to reveal information, fake or real.

As yourself claiming to be a prestigious moderator, it's insulting that you can't put your foot into the ground and actually do research and not jump to automatic conclusions. I will be prideful and say I at least know what I'm talking about. You, however in this instance, don't. You don't have the information, you don't know the actual story, you don't know if it's for malicious intent which so far it wasn't and I have the freedom to see if the information was actually correct. The person's identity is safe and even if I got the information I wouldn't spread s--- like the actual trolls that intend to manifest it everywhere from ACTUAL MALICIOUS INTENT.
And let me tell you, you definitely, most certainly, don't even know who's behind anything and you never put your damn moderator status to the side and act like a regular user to get to know them. If you want to open yourself up to more things, you should try to learn more information on the "other side", including the indivudals or the internet for f--- sakes.

talking about a person's location, whether it is right or wrong, malicious or not malicious, goes against rule #2: do not reveal private information about a user. and ESPECIALLY if the person is uncomfortable and/or clearly distressed that someone is talking about them in this way, we have to take action.
