I believe that telling people to ignore someone who is mean to them is the first step to making our jobs a little easier. Everyone here gets so worked up over being attacked by these trolls, but if they refused to respond, they'd be effectively defusing the situation all by themselves before it even had a chance to escalate. I think I know the incident you're referring to here, though. I wasn't really around for it. I wouldn't have said it like that myself, but I still agree with the message.
