My favorite folklore beast aside from a unicorn.

If you actually look at the history of a Wenigo, it's just a human who has turned into a beast/monster by feeding on human flesh and it's hunger can never be fulfilled.

I know. I read and wrote a history paper on it. Supposedly in some areas they are thought to be part deer.
