Blood isn't blue,if it is,then why do we have RED blood cells.
-
Blood that contains hemoglobin (such as in humans and other vertebrates) is always red. The reason veins appear to be blue is due to the lack of oxygen. If you hold your hand up to a light source, your hand will glow red because of the blood being red.

Some dude at my school said blood was blue. He said it changes red once it hits oxygen. I just asked,"How does it change so quickly?"
I should tell him what you said tomarrow. XD -
lol *is training to be doctor* that dude is an idiot then.
however, there are various creatures with blue blood though :3 -
As Ting said, itz blue without oxygen.
The dude was half right, b. -
Eh aparently my whole life is nao a lie.
*goes to baka corner* -
I know some creatures have blue blood, and one of those creatures isn't us. Lol.
So with the light thing...THAT'S why whenever I put my finger on a flashlight my finger turns red. XD -
hehehe yeah im gonna go do that now
-
Oooohh... It makes sense nao.
-
No it's the chemicals in the covering of the vein that's why the vein looks blue on your wrist
-
aren't chemicals inorganic?
