there's an "ask pta linda" blog
they're staying true to her characterization as a typical white conservative middle-class woman with a sense of entitlement and a "can I speak to a manager" haircut
but they're doing something a lot of people don't and not letting that define her
there are traits to her aside from being a close-minded moron, the same way real people like her have
in fact, if you never brushed against the subjects that set her off, you'd never know
and I admire that -
someone asked her why she would intentionally misgender Frisk if she knew it made them uncomfortable
she said something about how there are worse things to be than uncomfortable and how children can't decide those things for themselves -
well

there are worse bones to be broken than fingers
so if all your fingers are broken you shouldn't complain about it or go to the doctor
your neck could be broken
but it's not
so you shouldn't make it anyone else's problem -
I've never understood why anyone would choose to misgender someone
it's not inconvenient to just use the right pronouns
it doesn't take any longer to say
it would be so easy to just make that little change to accommodate another human being and make the time they spend around you a little more comfortable -
I feel like the act of intentionally misgendering someone is a really decent representation of someone's experiences and their general attitude
someone who does that is entitled and inconsiderate
their need to make a point is more important than the comfort of the people around them -
