I like the retro anime style (80s-90s) a tiny bit better than the 2000s anime style. Not because it's "old", but because it looks very pleasing to look at, there were a variety of anime that kind of looked very different and it is was just more detailed. In the 2000s you can still find and rummage through a fair share of good ass anime with detailed and pleasant animation, but there's just this generic-brand anime style that people always seem to use a lot and sometimes the way it looks just bothers me.
Meh, just my preference. I barely watch anime anymore.
