Every first word of a sentence I type types in capital letters, and I have to fix it. I don't know why. -
I haven't slept at all, and it's 5:18 AM.

I fell asleep at 9:30 this morning, and my mom just woke me up. I slept for two hours so far. She kept shaking me and asked if I was sick. I was so tempted to roll my eyes and yell yes because I've told her that, but that's rude. xD I didn't do that.

I came out to the school about me being trans through a slide show presentation and a speech. We had to do a presentation about a struggle we have/are going through in front of the entire 7th grade on the stage in the lunchroom, but only the kids with straight A's and good behavior could do it. It's pretty sad that I'm saying this, but there are very few people who got to do it. It was optional, but we were given the option to do it because it's Dr. Seuss week. The teachers wanted something to really make the students think about the world they live in and how they treat other people with a lesson behind it. That's what I did. When I was done, mostly everyone got up and clapped. The majority of the people clapping were literally sobbing. There were those few who wanted to be rude and shout tranny. I don't really care about that anymore. I feel awesome. That's why I wasn't on for the last week and a half. I was preparing that slide show and speech.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I was only out to my close friends, but now the entire grade and teachers know. They don't call me by my birth name anymore. They use he/him now. I can dress how I want and not feel awkward anymore. I can sit on the boys' side of the bus and play basketball with the boys in gym.

None of the teachers are transphobic. The only time I face transphobia at school is after gym and when I'm switching classes.
-
Ah, I'm so happy to hear that! You don't know how proud I am of you.
-
I can deal with this. It's so much better.
-
Nick, thank you so much.
-
Oh, and this video is why I chose to do that presentation and speech.

Today was amazing. I got a lot of hugs. xD There was a substitute in ELA class. I handed her my test because I was done, and she said Thank you sir, ma'am, sir? About the entire class looked at her and said sir.

//hugs
That's annoying, isn't? -
*hugs hugs*
Getting hugs? No. -
//squeezes
No, the misunderstood thing. -
Haley did that to me, and I squeaked involuntarily. It was so embarrassing.
I mean, it's not her fault. I have a baby face but dress like a boy. My voice isn't high, but it's not deep. I'm really skinny and about 5'3. It happens.
