It's kinda stupid because we go for 1 day and then another half a day, and then we go back 3 days after New Year's.

At least you get off sometimes though c: Some people don't get off at all. -
Last year we broke up on the 18th which was a Friday and went back the Monday after New Year's Day but no one bothers to change the term dates. :(

Yeah. They have no plans to change the term dates for the next 2 years. In my school they always put the term dates 1 year in advance for some reason.
