Ice Age 4 was a clusterfuk, as one would say. Shrek 4, too, was inconsistent, but compensated by having a decent story.

The second Ice Age was alright. The funniest scene was the vultures singing "Food Glorious Food". That was so random and stupid, but hilarious. xD -

Kal~Lol. Also, have you noticed Manny, Sid and Diego are similar to Shrek, Donkey, plus Puss personality wise? Think about it.
Manny/Shrek: large cynical brutes hurt by the world and develop hearts of gold in the end.
Sid/Donkey: best friends and comic relief sidekicks to protagonists.
Diego/Puss: suave felines tasked with murdering respective protagonists, but befriend them instead.
