( X + 4 2 , 2y + 1)
MF~
X: -2,-1,0,1,2
Y:-2,-1,0,1,2
When X is plugged in you get
1,1.5,2,2.5,3.
How do you plug Y into the equation to graph it on a linear graph? -
.o. I see.
-
Linear problem:
Quadratic:
-
Those are the inputs and outputs?
I think, you set X=0 to solve for Y.
I could be wrong though. There's a site, that was extremely helpful to me for all of this. "Khan Academy" it's super super helpful, it's free, and it has videos that'll show you how to do this. -
The Swedish Geek NoviceThat function looks dodgy, normally I see them written as f(x)=blah
Are you sure it's a linear graph? -
OKAY, THANK YOU. ^-^
-
The Swedish Geek NoviceSo the linear one calls itself from inside the function, you sure that's right? Recursive functions are a b----.
-
The Mother function is 2f(2x-4)+1, converted into (x+4/2, 2y + 1) No? I don't really know if I converted it right, that's what i'm asking.
-
O.o that's what I understood...? ;0; i'm still a sophomore, I don't really understand this.

-
The Swedish Geek NoviceIt looks like the values at the bottom right of the MF are wrong but idk.
-
The Swedish Geek NoviceThe function is infinitely recursive which is a bad sign.
-
The Swedish Geek NoviceUnless it is calling another function by the name of f
-
O.o I see. I'll just ask the teacher tomorrow.
^~^ Thanks for the help. -
Holy s---
Wait noOo
The teacher said something about that
But I wasn't really able to hear because I sit in the back
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? .O.
