Yu began tapping his foot. "Mr. R? Is there any point?"

Mr. R solemly looked around the room and began to speak.
"My teacher told me that creative writing isnt really writing at all. It isnt rules or genres. Creative writing is setting the beat of your heart and the thoughts in your mind to rythme and lyrics. Creative writing is the music of the soul. All this class teaches you how to do, is put your music to paper." -
Well I guess that answers my question scarlet thought and she agreed with Yu yeah she said in a annoyed tone

And now we begin the long lecture on creative writing she thought why dint you surprise me with some slide show or something -
"So basically we're writing music?" He continued to chew his pencil.

Mr. R glanced at the clock.
"You all have 35 minutes left in class... I dont want you to write a story or a poem or anything like that. What I want you to write... is what you're thinking about. Anything you're thinking about. No song started out perfect. They are always an idea. and the song grows from there." -
Scarlet was bored so she started to play with the wind making the hair on mr.Rs head fall to one side then making the papers on the classes desks fall over (Except Yu's)

Yu smiled and chuckled.

Mr. R smiled at Scarlet and without moving his lips, his voice echoed in her head,
"Bored, are we?" -
Yu wrote quietly. "Gee I'm used to poems in Language Arts..."

Scarlet continued to play with the wind already coming up with a paper idea in her head.
