Mary and Robert are blatant and honest about everything
Robert is honest about the fact that he lies and tells stories for reactions
Mary expresses exactly how she feels about something from the start
but Joseph?
man has secrets, enough to have actually hurt both Mary and Robert
and his whole "overly Christian, good neighbor next door" s--- is so transparent it's not even funny
all three have their faults, but holy hell, at least two of them are honest about it
