Yeah, it's official. They're starting to make it more and more obvious. The two part origins episodes basically showed everything for what it was.

I really wish I could've recorded my LGBT Studies class today.
One of our topics was homophobia and how it should be called homoprejudice.
Because the word phobia implies that it's an uncontrollable response to lgbtq+ people. And obviously it's not because, as Prof. Simmons said, "You can control being a f---ing a--hole."
It's okay to disagree with nature, but no one needs to be an ass about it. Being gay is, for the most part, biological. You cannot change it. You can hide it and pretend to be something else, but you can never change it.
Oh, and did you know that, in many places, crimes that someone commits against only gay people are not considered hate crimes? That's how it is in Michigan, unfortunately.
I love this class. I feel like I know and understand more than I ever had before. -
Oh and using the term "homosexual" to describe a person is not acceptable in the lgbtq+ community. It's considered oppressive and in the past was used to label people with a 'disease', as that was what 'normal' people thought of anyone who had a different sexual orientation. Honestly, I didn't know that myself and thought it was fine to call someone by that since we use heterosexual for straight persons. I guess it just depends person to person.
