Like I said, I got more a vibe of some mad scientist trying to create another being by taking the remains of the dead and shoving it together, since they were the shattered remains of smashed gems.

It gave off that vibe to me since they were smashed in to pieces and forced to fuse together which is already f---ed up on its own -

Yeah fair enough. I just never picked up on the rape thing because tbh rape normally means one person wanted it, but none of them wanted it.
