My little brother starts CRYING and says 'my mom doesn't love me anymore'
when my mother decides to tell him something he doesn't agree with
example: she tells him to do homework
several times telling him my bro cries and says it

who wants to help me tell him to shut up -.-' -
Tell him that your mother loves him, she just cares about him and wants the best. Or just give him a sweet or something.

but hes doing it manipulatively so he can get moms sympathy and continue playing video games
im silently applauding my mother for yelling at him. -
Tell her to take the video games off him and tell him it's time to go to bed. And tell her that she tell him that he knows she loves him and GO TO BED.

My approach is to show people that their self pitty is a worthless attempt to recieve some half hearted pity from someone who just wants you to shut up. That no matter how bad you think you've got it, that simply being able to complain about your problem makes you alot luckier than most. That your whiney, b----y, pathetic complaints are nothing but annoying and no one gives a flying f---.
