Don't depend on other people to f---ing change your life, because they wont help at all. They might support you, but they won't magically make you feel better. Find something to do with your life that makes you feel happy and distract yourself from all that unhappiness, that is what outlets are for. Eventually that thing will clear up all of your scars and you'll get better. Stop laying around like life is going to give you something because it won't, get up and go do something that will refresh your mind and ease everything just a bit. JUST A BIT. Try drawing, singing, going out with "friends", walking alone, walking with a friend, talking to someone, surfing the web, check up funny af pictures on Google Images or Bing Images, whatever floats your boat.
Drawing is a counterpart of my outlet, I can make other worlds where other people or individuals or anything exist and experiment with other lifestyles and just being in this creative world makes me happy. It's a place I can go to experience joy to express my imagination. My imagination is a bunch of worlds crammed up my head.
It's possible to make your life decent or even worth wild, so stop being "emo" and try helping yourself once in a while. -
It's not that easy, though. To people with depression, life feels like a tunnel that they're not going to escape. They can't just feel happy because they want to, it's really hard for them to be sincerely joyed. I should know, I probably have depression because that's what it feels like to me. I also do have friends that I talk to who have depression, both here and in real life.
You can't just call people out because you don't understand it, or because it's "not normal" or because you don't like it. You can't say something like you do. Are you a psychiatrist? No? Then stop trying to give people advice like you are, thinking that it's actually going to help, because it isn't. -

I don't understand? Usually people that relate HAVE been do depressed sessions of melancholy. And I never said it wasn't normal or I don't like it. I just think it's stupid to think there's NOTHING for you because you're living aren't you? Sorry I don't support you to f---ing cut your wrists and to continue to self harm yourself for unnecessary reasons. Sorry for not living up to the generic view of it. I'm not a psychiatrist, but thanks for saying that people with some sort of depressed thoughts that is sort of getting out of it/got out of it can't give advice to people that are stuck in bulls---?

Then good for them. Good for them for getting out of that tunnel. But I don't know how people can trick their brain into feeling like they're not depressed. That's probably not possible.
It's hard to make it out of depression. I'm not saying there's nothing for you to do, because there is. Some people just feel embarrassed because they feel like they're going to be judged, and that's why some people with depression are too afraid to go into therapy. And I don't support self-harm either, but that doesn't mean that I hate people for doing it. It's a stress relief thing. Just like cigarettes are, or you drawing like you said. They're just handling it in a different way.
And I doubt that you have had depression or are depressed. I can't tell you that you aren't, but I highly doubt it, if you're giving such s--- advice. -

No, she's not trying to help. She's basically throwing depressed people under the bus and yelling at them, telling them that they need to get out of whatever phase they're in. Then she's trying to justify it by saying she's giving logical advice. That's not help.

No, I'm not refusing to get help. I think I do need it, and if my parents choose to get me a therapist, then hell yeah, let's do that, as long as it's going to help me. I don't necessarily want to give up some things or talk about my feelings a whole lot, but if it'll help, then yeah, I could do it.
